Fairyland

Premium Kids Café

01 July 2019

The Fairyland Premium Kids Café designed by Wutopia Lab is now officially open to the public in Dalian. The brand is mutually owned by Pacee Education and Fairyland and includes educational resources as well as an attractive dining and playground area to let kids enjoy learning with entertainment.

The project of Wutopia Lab got inspired by the dreamy fairyland drawing to create the restaurant of the architect’s daughter.

The exterior façade of the restaurant is made of aluminum panels with punctures of various sizes on it to create an effect of ripples, that covers up a world between reality and dreams created for kids.

The front lobby is a circular space surrounded by forest of lights, which is composed of 1000 acrylic tubes that are able simulate the effect of sunlight shining through thick layers of leaves to provide a unique forest experience, with the reflection of the mirrored wall.

The central area is the Cloudy Town, a surreal space and real wonderland for kids, who can enjoy the Ocean of Clouds made of acrylic, with tree houses, slides, ball pit hidden in between.

Hiding within the clouds, the playroom features a carousel, a treehouse with slide sitting over a ball pit and a tube maze that expels plastic balls. Smaller pitched-roof houses within the space create more private rooms for dining or playing with the family. The Golden Castle includes candle lights, a fireplace and shiny silverware for the kids.

The dining areas surround the central play area, ensuring the parents constant supervision of their children. While immersed in a whimsical environment, the children can freely play among the clouds while the parents comfortably enjoy the restaurant’s food and drinks.
